Stepping into centuries of history at Cardiff Castle 🏰 Cardiff Castle is a medieval castle and Victorian Gothic revival mansion located in the city centre of Cardiff, Wales. It was built on the remains of a Roman fort in the 11th century by Norman invaders. The castle has a rich history, having been owned by a number of different families over the centuries.
