Following CBS’ cancellation of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, the network announced Byron Allen's Comics Unleased will fill the 11:35 p.m. late-night time slot starting May 22.
Stephen Colbert recently revealed his unexpected next career move after “The Late Show” will come to an end on CBS in May: He will be co-writing a new “Lord of the Rings” movie titled “Shadow of the Past.
While CBS may be getting out of the late-night game, one assumes that if Stephen Colbert wants to host another talk show or other comedy series, he will have his choice of options. Colbert has made it clear he would have stayed with The Late Show for a long time if given the chance, and so he's going to need something new to keep him busy.
