The first pictures taken by the Artemis II astronauts of the far side of the Moon, during their six-hour historic fly-by, have been released.

The four crew members of Artemis II have set a distance record for humanity Monday, April 6 as they fly beyond the lunar surface while over 250,000 miles from Earth.

Flight Day 6 of their mission featured the Apollo 13 distance record at 1:56 p.m., the moon flyby and a unique solar eclipse created by the alignment of the sun, moon and spacecraft.
